A treasure trove of information about what is happening at the national office topped with a warm-hearted smile will help you recognize Sylvia. She is also the coordinator for Volunteering & Internships, which involves setting up agreements with universities, training interns and volunteers, and organizing volunteering field trips to the regions.
With a degree in International Relations from Tec De Monterrey, Sylvia is particularly interested in developing her studies in human rights. At THP, she is responsible for organizing the country director´s schedule, coordinating meetings and providing high-level administrative support to the main office. Sylvia was a volunteer with THP-Mexico since 2010 when she integrated the staff in June 2011 working as a Programs Assistant before taking up the role of Executive Assistant.
“I firmly believe in the methodology of THP to eradicate hunger and poverty; we can definitely create a better world and I want to be part of the movement that makes it happen.”
