Mohammad Aslam has worked in Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Kenya, Somalia, Sudan, Ethiopia and Uganda and Zimbabwe. His fields of experience include organizational development, strategic planning, operations and people management, and has deep interests in social research methodologies. In programmatic areas, besides periodic emergency humanitarian programming, he has mostly worked in long term community development through community mobilization, education, youth development, capacity building of the communities, livelihoods, community-based savings and micro credits, food security and nutrition, WASH and community-based health programming. He has deep interests in gender analysis in development and in right based programming. He holds a master’s degree in development studies (globalization and rural development) from University of Lund in Sweden and has received several professional training courses provided by nationally and internally reputed bodies. He lives in Dhaka with his family, wife and two sons.
