Lindy Mockovak joined The Hunger Project in August 2014. Most recently, Lindy worked at a Context, a sustainability consultancy where she consulted multi-national corporations on strengthening their corporate sustainability strategies. Prior to Context, Lindy lived in Kenya and Rwanda working on a rural youth program with TechnoServe, where she supported stakeholder engagement activities, policy analysis, and program evaluation activities. Lindy worked for almost five years at Edelman, the world’s largest global public relations firm, in their Washington, D.C. and New York City offices where she worked with clients, such as Pfizer, GE, AT&T, and Wal-Mart. Her professional experience also includes working with the Clinton Global Initiative and consulting with Bank of America to assess their corporate sustainability strategy in Latin America. Lindy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Psychology from the University of Virginia and a Master of Public Administration in Energy and Environmental Policy from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. In her spare time, she enjoys running, yoga, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.
