RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. It is an easy way for you to stay current on what's going on in THP by getting the latest updates of our content as soon as they are published, without having to browse our website.
The first step is to choose an RSS feed reader and install it on your computer. Most current-version web browsers-like Firefox, Safari, and Internet Explorer 7-have built-in RSS readers. Otherwise, to view an RSS feed, you will need a small software program called an RSS reader. There are many different RSS readers available, many for free. There are also a number of web-based readers available, such as: My Yahoo, Bloglines, and Google Reader.
Each reader has a slightly different way of adding a new feed, so be sure to follow the directions for your reader, but in most cases, here's how it works: When you see a feed link on a website, click on the link or small RSS button for the feed. From your browser, copy the URL (web address) that appears in your address bar. Paste that URL into the 'Add New Channel' section of the reader. The RSS feed will start to display and regularly update the headlines for you.
