Between July and December 2010, The Hunger Project (THP)-Mozambique continued to improve its ongoing direct program activities. Improvements in food security and environmental issues were achieved through trainings in new food production techniques.

During this period, THP-Mozambique also concentrated on introducing new equipment and activities into its three epicenters such as improved brick-making, a corn mill allowing for bread-making, and solar panels which support the water pump and corn mill. A government representative from the health sector also visited Chokwe Epicenter during this period. At Zuza Epicenter, the only Phase Two epicenter, THP-Mozambique began loan disbursements through its growing Microfinance Program.
