Carl-Diedric "Icke" Hamilton, has had a long career in Swedish and international investment banking. He was one of the founding partners of Enskilda Securities, which is the leading Swedish investment bank with offices in New York, London and many European countries. He left in the mid-1990s after having served as the CEO and went on to run Alfred Berg, the other leading Nordic investment bank, after its purchase by ABN AMRO for which he soon came to lead its global equities business.
Mr. Hamilton has been active in various investment management activities, as CEO and partner of Lancelot Asset Management AB. He has also served as Senior Advisor at Erik Penser Bankaktiebolag in Stockholm.
Mr. Hamilton was educated at the Stockholm School of Economics. He has been a supporter and an investor in The Hunger Project since the mid-1980s and is Chairman of the Board of the The Hunger Project in Sweden. He has spent half his working life in London and currently lives in Stockholm.
