The Hunger Project-Japan
Japan is a vitally important country in the global effort to end hunger, and is one of the world's largest official donors of foreign assistance. The Hunger Project has had a chapter in Japan since 1985, and Japanese citizens have invested generously in the work of The Hunger Project over the years.
The Hunger Project was reorganized with NPO recognition from the government of Japan on June 1, 2000.
There are currently 80 Hunger Project investors in Japan.
