On the December 1, 2008, The Hunger Project-Malawi joined the rest of the world in commemorating this year's World AIDS Day. The event engaged various members of the community in presentations on important issues from prevention to care.
Today, more than 30 million people are living with HIV/AIDS. The Hunger Project has trained more than 600,000 people in its HIV/AIDS and Gender Inequality Workshop.
