The Hunger Project uses a new social networking app to inspire giving during the holiday season

December 19, 2016

The Hunger Project has partnered with raizn, a new social network dedicated to philanthropy
and social good, to launch a fundraising campaign called #dinewithpurpose which
encourages micro-donations when dining out.

The Campaign

For many of us, the holidays are synonymous with an abundance of good food. While we take
this luxury for granted, approximately 795 million people across the globe do not have enough
to eat. Luckily there are organizations who do incredible work to combat this reality and The
Hunger Project is one of them. The rules are simple. Every time you eat out in December,
donate $2 to The Hunger Project on Raizn (free download on the app store), with the hashtag #dinewithpurpose then share your donation on Facebook and Twitter to inspire your friends.

Download the app now.

About Raizn

Raizn is social network for philanthropy, where users can easily donate to a curated selection of
top-rated charities, match their friends donations, give directly to #campaigns (such as this
one), keep up with “social good” news and build their online goodwill. Raizn wants to make
micro giving a daily habit for millennials by making it easy, social and relevant. The company
has so far partnered with 20 charities to make that a reality and is currently in public beta for
iOS on the Apple App Store.
