Hunger Project mobilizes events for World AIDS Day In Mozambique

We had a wonderful day! We joined with the local government in Chokwé for the ceremony to commemorate World AIDS Day. The administrator started by depositing flowers at the monument. Then we went to a rally where many groups presented drummers, dancing, plays and a talk about the importance of old people who take care of orphans. It was raining but people stayed until the end. We had the opportunity to speak to the people and the Government about our program and the  8 Millennium Goals. I was thrilled because we could see that the local government recognizes our work - we were the only organization invited to make a speech!
