The Hunger Project, working in 14 states of India, focuses on the mobilization and empowerment of elected women representatives in panchayats (village councils). Through effective strategies, and in partnership with more than 68 civil society organizations, The Hunger Project has worked with and supported the leadership of about 71,000 elected women representatives.
