Chirapaq's October 2010 Update to the Global Board
The following are highlights from April-October 2010 from The Hunger Project's partner organization in Peru, Chirapaq (Center for Indigenous Peoples' Cultures of Peru):
1. Building alliances with other related organizations to strengthen efforts and outreach.
2. Publically promoting a process to strengthen indigenous leaders and organizations in Peru and Latin America.
3. Regional training, information dissemination and awareness building of the fundamental rights of women and indigenous peoples.
