Dining to Make a Difference
A Meal with Meaning
On May 2, 2009, women and men throughout the country participated in the event "Dining to Make a Difference." But you can still Dine to Make a Difference too!
Rather than going to a restaurant for a meal, gather your family and friends at your home for a dinner (perhaps potluck). As a group, pool the money you would have collectively spent had you dined out, and instead, invest it in the work of The Hunger Project (THP)!
During these challenging financial times, this is a wonderful and meaningful way to spend time and connect with friends, raise awareness about hunger, introduce THP to new people, and raise money to support THP's proven strategies.
If you are interested in hosting a Dining to Make a Difference dinner, please contact Supriya Banavalikar at sb@thp.org or 212-251-9109 who will support you in having your event be a success!
