June 2007: Ending Hunger in Ghana: Photos from Dr. Tadesse's Recent Visit

In June 2007, Dr. Fitigu Tadesse, Hunger Project Vice President for Africa, visited several of Ghana's epicenters. Photo highlights appear below that document the progress of The Hunger Project-Ghana.

Odumase epicenter is one of four epicenters currently being built in the Eastern Region of Ghana. In this photo, the epicenter community is flattening the land to prepare the foundation for the L-shaped building.

The grounds at Taido epicenter are well maintained by the epicenter committee. Taido epicenter loan groups discussing the AWFFI and SPIA integrated microfinance programs with Dr. Tadesse.

Asafora is a new epicenter being constructed by the people of the Asafora community in the Greater Accra Region. It is set to be completed in 2008. Dr. Tadesse visited the site on June 22, 2007.
