The staff of our Global Office in New York is a small,
collegial team. Whenever we have job openings, we list them here on the Idealist.org
website.
If you are interested in an unpaid internship in New York,

We do NOT keep resumes on file, and we do
NOT do informational interviews.
Given our commitment to empowering local leadership, we do NOT offer
overseas employment or volunteer opportunities.
If you live in a country where we work outside the USA,
employment is handled by the office in that country. Click here.
Volunteer Opportunities
Much of our work is carried out by volunteers. There are 180,000 volunteer
leaders in the work of The Hunger Project, working in partnership with
250 staff in 24 countries around the world.
To volunteer in your area, please contact
your nearest Hunger Project office. In developed countries, the primary action
is investment.
Given our commitment to the empowerment of local leadership,
The Hunger Project never sends volunteers or staff to work outside
their own country. If you are interested in international volunteerism,
visit InterAction's website, the consortium of
NGOs that we belong to.
