The Hunger Project-Switzerland is registered as an association according to article 60 of the Swiss Civil Code and was founded in 1983. With the home-office based in Zurich, The Hunger Project-Switzerland has been under the leadership of Managing Director Alice M. Arnold since 2005.
The Hunger Project was formed in New Zealand in 1984 and has built up to a loyal group of about 70 investors who make monthly contributions. Many of them have sustained this support for more than ten years.

The Hunger Project-United Kingdom is a registered charity (charity number 326688) and was established by a Trust Deed dated September 12, 1984, as amended on March 8, 1988. The Hunger Project has been active in the United Kingdom since 1979.
The Hunger Project-Sweden has offices in Stockholm and Malmo. We focus on fundraising, dissemination of information and advocacy. In addition to the Country Director, Åsa Skogström Feldt, there are two additional staff members: Filippa Odevall and Caroline Trege.
The Hunger Project-Netherlands was founded in 1981 and has been a successful volunteer organization since then. The official office has existed since 2004. Our objectives are: to raise funds for the projects in the program countries of The Hunger Project; and to make people aware that the overall aim of The Hunger Project, to achieve a world without hunger, is possible.
Japan is a vitally important country in the global effort to end hunger, and is one of the world's largest official donors of foreign assistance. The Hunger Project has had a chapter in Japan since 1985, and Japanese citizens have invested generously in the work of The Hunger Project over the years.
The Hunger Project in Germany was incorporated in 1982 and is registered as a charitable organization based in Ravensburg. In 2007, The Hunger Project Germany gained acceptance as a full member of the Association of German Development Non-Governmental Organizations, VENRO.
The Hunger Project-Canada is a national chapter of The Hunger Project
whose headquarters are situated in Toronto, Ontario. There, we have a
small, dedicated staff supporting a country-wide network of volunteer
fundraising activists.
The Hunger Project-Australia was established on June 16, 1983. It has two primary objectives: to educate and raise public awareness in Australia about the issue of chronic, persistent hunger and its solutions through the empowerment of people in the developing world; and to raise and provide funds for these programs in the developing countries where The Hunger Project works.
